I am pleased to announce that Bill Comeau joins ESCO Technologies as Group President – Aerospace & Defense (A&D) effective Monday, October 23. He will report directly to me. Bill replaces Sam Chapetta who retired from ESCO in June.
In this role, Bill will manage the overall A&D segment P&L and provide strategic leadership working closely with the A&D subsidiary presidents and their executive management teams. Reporting directly to Bill are the following A&D presidents:

Joe McCadden, Globe Composite Solutions
Matt Stafford, VACCO Industries
Mike Alfred, Crissair
Rowland Ellis, PTI Technologies
Tom Shaw, Mayday Manufacturing

With a diverse career spanning nearly three decades, Bill served most recently as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Tecomet, Inc. In that role, he led global operations, supply chain, and product group generating $700M USD in revenue. Prior to Tecomet, Bill held a variety of other executive-level roles of increasing responsibility at Eaton Corporation, Stanley Black & Decker, Textron, General Electric Healthcare, and Honeywell Aerospace. An experienced P&L and multi-site manufacturing operations leader, Bill brings a proven track record of accomplishment in A&D and broader industrial end-markets to ESCO.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marquette University in Milwaukee and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Bill and his wife Tammy have three children Madison, Lexi, and Bryce, and they reside in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio with Bryce. As a family they enjoy skiing, biking, fishing, and traveling.
