There is a clause on my quote that states “Proprietary Parts – Requires an OEM PO number or Government contract number be sent with the PO for these items.” What does this mean?
A: Due to the proprietary nature of the part/parts, the OEM and parts lists requirements call out that the OEM PO number and/or government contract number must be referenced on the PO. This is both a Mayday and OEM requirement.
Is Mayday able to send drawings if requested?
A: No. Due to the proprietary nature, sending prints/drawings of any kind is against Mayday policy.

I have purchased the same part in the past but the quote has expired. Is it possible to extend the expiration date on my quote?
A: Yes. Mayday can extend the expiration date on quotes if specific conditions remain unchanged (i.e., material availability, material cost, lot size, machine cell utilization, etc.)

Is Mayday Manufacturing hiring?

Is there a minimum order quantity or cost?
A: There is no minimum order quantity. Minimum order cost is $250.00 per line item.
When a RFQ is submitted when can I expect a quoted response?
A: Typically RFQ’s are processed and a quote is generated and sent back within 24 hours. Exceptions are quotes that require additional information from outside processors or quotes that require unique tooling/special processing.

Is there additional costs for certificate of conformance?
A: No. The cost of the certificates is included in the unit cost of the part with the exception of First Article Inspections (FAR Reports).
Is Mayday able to process CATIA/ENOVIA/CAD/CAM files?
A: Yes. Current versions: CATIA V5-6R2012, CAD2013, SOLIDWORKS2013, CAM ESPRIT 2013.
I placed an order sometime ago. Am I able to cancel the order if I have not received the parts?
A: Yes. Mayday will only charge for the manufacturing process that has been completed including labor and material utilized.
I have received parts for an order placed. Am I able to return the parts for a full refund?
A: No. Mayday does not accept returns of any kind on conforming product.
